Overview
Crumb Rubber Modified Bitumen (CRMB) is a specialized form of bitumen that is created by blending regular bitumen with crumb rubber obtained from discarded truck tires and additives. CRMB is designed to enhance the performance and longevity of asphalt in road construction and other applications:
The selection criteria for grade of Crumb Rubber Modified Bitumen shall be based on atmospheric temperature as shown below:
- CRMB 50: For temperature below 35°C.
- CRMB 55: For temperature between 35 to 45°C.
- CRMB 60: For temperature above 45°C.
